The outlined plan and projections: Yes, they are working… But do they have the right plan for you? And if they are working with the plan, can they make a rough projection for your KPIs? Sure, giving definite numbers as to what kind of results you will see from digital marketing efforts is almost impossible. But agencies should give insights to their clients as to what kind of results the client can expect from them in the coming weeks and months. So, do ask for a roadmap or plan from your agency and what kind of results you can see in the upcoming weeks. If they can’t produce these or if their plan and projection don’t meet your expectations, they might not be doing their job properly.

These are three ways you can figure out if the marketing agency you have hired is doing a good job or not.

Now, what if they aren’t performing well? What if, say, your SEO agency in Australia isn’t adequately fulfilling its role? In such a case, it’s essential to have a serious conversation with them. Inconsistencies and lapses in communication often lead to ineffective results. So, maybe they aren’t doing their work properly because the communication between you and them isn’t clear. So, do have a serious talk with them. Tell them the gaps you have found and how the expectations aren’t met.

Even after that conversation, if you find the gaps haven’t been filled, you should promptly drop that agency and find someone new (and better). Because the longer you stick with them, the more time and money you’re wasting. Moreover, their approach, tactics or techniques may do more damage to your digital presence. So, it’s better to end the engagement with them the moment you find that they aren’t doing their job properly even after conveying to them your disappointments.
